Thank you for celebrating with CATCH!
On Friday, March 13, CATCH Neighborhood Housing celebrated its 30th anniversary at its inaugural Masquerade Gala at the Grappone Conference Center. The theme of the night was “unmasking” the myths and misconceptions around affordable housing and despite the challenging circumstances, a good crowd joined in on the fun.
“We are so thrilled with this exciting new event,” said CATCH President, Rosemary M. Heard. “Having spent the last 25 years showcasing political satire, we were eager to start a new tradition of ‘unmasking’ the issues of affordable housing. We are grateful to the people who danced and partook in the merriment with us, and we look forward to growing the event next year when everyone can join us.”
Guests were entertained with jazz music from State Street Music, a cocktail reception and dinner provided by Catering by Design and the excellent staff at the Grappone Conference Center, an art gallery walk featuring local artists’ interpretation of the importance of home, and the incredible DJ Nazzy kept the place dancing late into the night. CATCH wishes to sincerely thank Concord TV who worked diligently on the creation of CATCH’s 30thanniversary video which was launched at the masquerade, as well as the many guests who toasted to the next 30 years of creating communities where every person is confident of a home.
In the meantime, we are sympathetic to all community nonprofit organizations that have to cancel or postpone events in the face of the COVID-19 crisis, and we urge you all to consider, now more than ever, your continued and increased support of the nonprofit sector.
