CATCH Neighborhood Housing will host a groundbreaking ceremony at 95 Village Street in Penacook on Thursday, June 17 at 10:00 AM. CATCH recently purchased the land and has begun construction on the 42 one, two, and three-bedroom workforce apartments. The CATCH Board of Directors unanimously agreed to name this new development Rosemary’s Way in memory of CATCH’s late President & CEO, Rosemary M. Heard, who passed away in December 2020.
The groundbreaking ceremony will recognize and celebrate the community partners who have collaborated with CATCH to make this development a reality. Guests are invited for a brief speaking ceremony, led by CATCH’s President & CEO Tom Furtado, followed by refreshments and conversation.
This event is free and open to the community. A video live-stream of the event will be available on CATCH’s Facebook page as well as through ConcordTV for those wishing to attend virtually. Parking at the location is limited and RSVPs for in-person attendance are kindly requested to Erin at eschaick@catchhousing.org or (603) 715-8330.
As a NeighborWorks America network organization, CATCH will also be participating in their annual nationwide celebration of neighborhood change and awareness, NeighborWorks Week. Throughout the week of June 5-12 and beyond, CATCH is participating through this groundbreaking ceremony as well as several campaigns to promote awareness of the network and CATCH’s work in the housing arena. The NeighborWorks network was founded and is supported by NeighborWorks America, which creates opportunities for people to live in affordable homes, improve their lives and strengthen their communities.
