Concord, New Hampshire…CATCH Neighborhood Housing welcomes Arlyss Martin to the role of Real Estate Asset Manager where she will oversee the financial performance of the organization’s multi-housing investment portfolio including affordable workforce and market-rate housing as well as commercial space. Her focus will be on optimizing value for investors and development partners while ensuring the long-term sustainability of CATCH’s real estate assets. Working closely with our property management partner, Alliance Asset Management, Arlyss will monitor occupancy, revenue, and operating efficiency to maximize both community impact and financial results. Her strategic oversight will help secure the perpetuity and success of CATCH’s diverse real estate holdings.
Martin has extensive experience in real estate sales and management, including excellent skills in client services, contract negotiations, marketing and financial oversight. Previous work with Rhode Island state representative Dr. June Speakman on issues related to low-income housing has also provided Martin with a deep understanding of the legislative and funding challenges affecting the development of affordable workforce housing in all New England states, and especially New Hampshire.
"Arlyss has already proven to be a valuable addition to our Real Estate Department," says CATCH Neighborhood Housing COO Alex Panagiotakos, "She hit the ground running, is a great collaborator with the entire staff, and has already implemented a number of essential processes and procedures that save valuable staff time and ensure strong financial results."
Martin notes of her new role, “I’m thrilled to be joining the incredible team at CATCH Housing, whose mission to create and support affordable communities in the Granite State has a meaningful impact on people’s lives. I look forward to contributing to the team and supporting all of our properties and the residents who call them home.”
A lifelong NH resident, Martin currently lives in southern New Hampshire with her fiancé.
About CATCH Neighborhood Housing:
Founded in 1989, CATCH Neighborhood Housing has been a chartered member of NeighborWorks America since 1999. CATCH offers a full spectrum of housing and education services in Merrimack County, New Hampshire, and meets the needs of the communities it serves by constructing new affordable housing units and revitalizing existing housing in an area where affordable rental options are limited. Since 1989, CATCH has expanded its real estate portfolio to include more than 425 affordable workforce housing units in Concord, Penacook, Bow, and Franklin, New Hampshire. These units serve approximately 1,100 seniors, adults, and children per year.
In order to better meet the needs of its residents and ensure the proper maintenance and professional management of its rental properties, while also providing a source of sustainable funding for the organization, in 2013 CATCH created Alliance Asset Management, a property and asset management company specializing in affordable housing regulations and associated financial services.
In 2014, in partnership with NeighborWorks Southern New Hampshire and Lakes Region Community Developers, CATCH collaborated to provide homeownership and financial education services through HOMEteam. This innovative partnership organization serves the entirety of Merrimack, Hillsborough, Belknap, and Rockingham Counties, providing New Hampshire's residents access to first-time homebuyer education seminars as well as financial fitness courses and mortgage counseling.
CATCH Neighborhood Housing is located at 105 Loudon Rd, in Concord, New Hampshire. For further information about the organization, please call 603-225-8835 or visit our website at www.CatchHousing.org.
