CATCH Celebrates Home with “Home for the Holidays” Campaign
CATCH Neighborhood Housing is pleased to share that in place of in-person fundraising events, CATCH will be launching its inaugural “Home for the Holidays” campaign to share the joy of the holidays, the value of our homes, and the celebration of local musicians to virtually bring our community together.
Beginning on Saturday, December 19th CATCH will be hosting virtual holiday concerts, original music from local artists, and sharing bits of joy from our friends and supporters.
“While we can’t be together in person to celebrate, we hope that this collaborative effort will bring some joy to those who are unable to leave their homes and for all those who are finding it difficult to get in the holiday spirit this year!” said Executive Vice President, Tom Furtado. “We are looking forward to this series and supporting some great local musicians while highlighting something we can all appreciate: our homes.”
At 2:00 pm, State Street Music will be kicking off the campaign from Phenix Hall. CATCH will be recording this concert in its entirety thanks to a partnership with ConcordTV. Those who register for CATCH’s campaign at catchhousing.org/programs will receive the full concert video shortly afterwards, and everyone will also be able to access the kickoff live at facebook.com/catchhousing. Other local musicians will be hosting Facebook live concerts, sharing holiday videos, and/or promoting our shared appreciation for being home in our communities for the holidays. Follow the hashtag #HomefortheHolidayswithCATCH to sing, dance, and follow along and visit catchhousing.org for the most up-to-date musical events!
In early 2021, CATCH plans to host additional virtual concerts over the winter months, which will also be available online, and end the "Home for the Holidays" series with a concert at the location for the newest CATCH housing development on Village Street in Penacook.
CATCH hopes the wider community will also participate by hosting their own socially-distanced neighborhood concerts, family sing-alongs, zoom caroling, or other creative ideas to spread joy (and not COVID-19) throughout the holidays and winter months. The end goal is an overall campaign to spread joy while being home in New Hampshire for the holidays. Please tag @CATCHHousing and use #HomefortheHolidayswithCATCH in any photos and videos you would like to share!
