CATCH Celebrates Completion of Davis Ridge Project with Ribbon Cutting

On October 24, 2024, CATCH Neighborhood Housing gathered more than 80 stakeholders together, along with the press and special guests, to celebrate the ribbon cutting for Davis Ridge, our latest 48-unit affordable and workforce housing development in Concord, NH. This was a true celebration, and one that marked the completion of CATCH's 18th housing development in Merrimack County. This most recent substantial investment in the New Hampshire economy has brought CATCH's total housing impact to more than 820 units serving several thousand residents over the past 35 years!

The event began with a welcome and opening remarks from CATCH's Chairman of the Board James Gallagher and President & CEO Tom Furtado. Speakers included Senator Jeanne Shaheen and Senator Maggie Hassan; Concord City Mayor Byron Champlin; Nate Robinson, Director of Multifamily Development & Finance with NH Housing; Frank Lemay, President of Milestone Construction; Aaron Gladden, VP of Community Development Lending with Eastern Bank; and Dan Kierce of RBC Community Investments. Although every speaker had something to add to the conversation about affordable housing, they all agreed that New Hampshire's future socio-economic growth and success depends on the ability of the state's residents to access safe and affordable places to call home.

There are so many partners who helped make this much-needed project a reality—from pre-development and permitting, to funding and construction—and we here at #CATCH couldn’t have done this good work without each and every one of them. A huge thanks goes to all of our speakers and a big shoutout to our sponsors Eastern Bank Foundation, RBC Capital Markets, Milestone Construction, and NH Housing for making this event possible. Together, we can do great things!
