On Friday, March 13, CATCH Neighborhood Housing will be celebrating its 30th anniversary at its first ever Masquerade Gala at the Grappone Conference Center. The theme of the night will be “unmasking” the myths and misconceptions around affordable housing and all are invited.
In order to truly make this a community event and celebration, CATCH is seeking local artists to create a piece of art that will be displayed in the lobby of the conference center throughout the night. The art pieces should reflect on the theme of the importance of home, and how we all need a safe place we each can afford to call home. A wide variety of mediums are encouraged to be submitted; sketches, paintings, sculpture, jewelry, framed poetry, woodworking, comics, and more are welcome.
Artists are encouraged to bring their artwork for sale to the event. Artists will have the option of donating proceeds or a portion of their sale to CATCH if he/she so chooses.
