Resident Services Coordinator - 32 Hours - Rye/Kennebunk, ME

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Among the daily responsibilities, the RSC will:

  • Conduct an assessment of every resident’s needs within 60 days of move-in, and annually thereafter. Document these efforts.

  • Increase resident knowledge of and access to available services.

  • Provide follow-up as needed to address resident’s needs as identified in their service plans. Document these efforts.

  • Develop and implement strategies to building community among diverse residents.

  • Help residents maintain stability and prevent eviction.

  • Build life skills.

  • Increase household income and assets.

  • Increase health and well-being.

  • Improve the educational success of children and youth.

  • Conduct an annual survey of all residents regarding need for and satisfaction with the service coordination, including coordinated services.

  • When requested, work with property management in mediating conflicts between residents. Document these efforts.

  • Increases the ability of residents to uphold lease obligations (timely rent payment, proper unit maintenance and quiet and peaceful enjoyment of the property for residents and neighbors), thereby supporting resident retention.

  • Strengthen the relationship between Alliance and community service organizations and programs.

  • Keeps current regarding available community resources, federal, state and local programs and fulfills required education and training requirements.

  • Comply with State of New Hampshire and Federal mandated reporting requirements.

  • Maintain appropriate resident files with proper documentation of information in a secure location to ensure privacy and confidentiality.

  • Follow-up timely and as needed with residents while coordinating as appropriate with property manager.
