CATCH Welcomes New Board Members

CATCH Neighborhood Housing is pleased to announce the addition of three new members to its board of directors. At its April meeting, the board unanimously approved the addition of Eric Palson, Suzi Pegg, and Nadine Salley.

Eric Palson is Principal at SMP Architects in Concord. He was formerly an associate with Benjamin Thompson Associates in Cambridge, and a professor at three architectural colleges. Eric assumed control of Clint and Deirdre Sheerr’s commercial practice after Clint’s passing in 1997. In 2012, Sheerr McCrystal Palson Architecture, Inc., led by Eric and his new partner, Jason LaCombe, moved from New London to Concord. An architect since 1986, Eric’s notable projects include the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord, NH; Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Hampshire in Manchester, NH; and the Division of Continuing Education for Harvard University in Cambridge, MA. Aside from practicing architecture, Eric is an oil painter and exhibits sporadically around the area. He also supports his wife, Patricia, in her craft exhibitions, and their grown children.

On May 1, 2017, the City of Concord named Suzi Pegg as its first Director of Economic Development. Prior to her arrival in Concord, Suzi served at the Vice President of Global Business Development and Marketing for the Pittsburgh (Pennsylvania) Regional Alliance where she was responsible for the development and execution of an aggressive strategic Foreign Direct Investment marketing plan to promote the regions’ competitive position internationally. Suzi is highly engaged in her community and has many professional and community affiliations, including being a current International Economic Development Council (IEDC) Member and Chair of the International Advisory Steering Committee (DC). She competed in Dancing with The Concord Stars this spring and is a member of the Leadership Greater Concord Class of 2018.

Nadine Salley resides in Tilton, NH and is Director of Portfolio Initiatives at New Hampshire Community Loan Fund, Inc. in Concord where she has been since 1999. Prior to that she was employed at Merrimack County Savings Bank in Concord, NH as Vice President and Senior Loan Officer for 10 years. She received both her Master’s and Bachelor’s Degrees in Consumer Economics and Public Policy, with a minor in Housing, from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. She has been involved in or served on the boards of several civic and community organizations since moving to NH from NJ in 1989. Her most recent volunteer activities include serving as a member of the City of Concord’s Community Development Advisory Committee since 1996, a 2002 graduate of the Leadership New Hampshire program, a member of the Board Directors of the Zonta Club of Southern Maine.

CATCH President Rosemary M. Heard said, “We are so excited that Eric, Suzi, and Nadine have joined the board at CATCH. They will each bring a new perspective and experiences that will be incredibly valuable to our organization. I am looking forward to working with each of them and taking our board and CATCH to the next level!”
