CATCH Welcomes New Finance Committee Members

CATCH Neighborhood Housing is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to its Finance Committee. This summer, CATCH welcomed Todd Watson, Vice President Commercial Relationship Manager with Bangor Savings Bank, and Aki Mathieu, Controller of Riverbend Community Mental Health, to its volunteer committee.

Todd has over 15 years of experience in sales, marketing, and management within the banking and retail/wholesale manufacturing industries. He has been with Bangor Savings Bank in Concord since March 2019 and is primarily responsible for the acquisition of new banking relationships, maintaining and deepening the relationships of his portfolio of 60 clients, and analyzing new loan requests. Prior to joining Bangor Savings Bank, Todd served as Relationship Manager with Citizens Bank, and previously was Vice President Commercial Lending with Bank of New Hampshire. He served as a board member and past President of the Wentworth Economic Development Corporation in Wolfeboro and resides in the Lakes Region with his wife and two daughters.

Prior to joining Riverbend Community Mental Health in 2018, Aki held roles in some of New England’s largest and most respected accounting firms including Wolf & Company, Gray Gray & Gray, and Melanson Heath & Co. His extensive audit work with a wide variety of organizations and industries gives Aki the knowledge and experience necessary to advise on all aspects of accounting and business issues. He is licensed in New Hampshire as a Certified Public Accountant and is a cum laude graduate of Southern New Hampshire University where he earned undergrad and graduate degrees in Accounting. Aki served five years of active duty in the United States Navy as an Aircrewman onboard the P3C Orion Aircraft.

President and CEO Rosemary M. Heard said, “We are so thrilled to welcome Todd and Aki to our CATCH and Alliance Finance Committee. They both bring a unique perspective and diverse financial experiences with them, and we look forward to learning from them!”

Senior VP and Chief Financial Officer, Kathy Kittle, added, “As CATCH and Alliance continue to grow, we are grateful to have Todd and Aki join our already strong committee and further strengthen our finance team!”

The overall purpose of the committee is to coordinate the board’s financial oversight responsibilities by recommending policy to the board, interpreting it for staff, and monitoring its implementation, as well as providing board oversight of the annual financial audits. It is also responsible for overseeing CATCH and Alliance Asset Management’s assets, reviewing annual budgets and making recommendations, monitoring budget implementation and financial procedures, reviewing quarterly financial reports, and managing investments.
